In a shocking incident, a vegetable vendor in Bhopal washed green coriander in drain water. The episode took place in Sindhi Market, and the man who recorded the video can be heard saying the accused that cleaning vegetables in drain water was dangerous. 

However, the vegetable seller didn’t pay attention and continued his job. When asked why he was doing the evil act, he did not answer. Also, the man told the vendor that no one would buy vegetables from him if they saw the video. Initially, officials stated that they visited the market but could not ascertain the vendor in the video. On Tuesday, the police said the man identified and traced his phone number. But his phone was turned off.

Reportedly, district collector Avinash Lavania ordered a probe and asked concerned officials to take action. Also, the Food Safety Officer of Bhopal District, Devendra Kumar Dubey, filed a complaint against the merchant at Hanumanganj police station. According to Hanuman Ganj police station, the vendor in the clip was recognised as Dharmendra.

 

The viral video emerged on social media platforms with the details about the incident and asked officials to take strict action against the man. Netizens too demanded strict action against the vendor.
