The UPSC has announced the written results for the Combined Medical Services Examination 2026. Qualified candidates must update their details and upload documents on the UPSC portal within 15 days to be eligible for the Personality Test.
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on Tuesday declared the result of the written part of the Combined Medical Services (CMS) Examination 2026, held on August 2. Candidates with the specified roll numbers have qualified for the Personality Test/Interview.
Next Steps for Qualified Candidates
Their candidature remains provisional, subject to fulfilment of all eligibility conditions. The UPSC said shortlisted candidates will have to produce original documents supporting their claims regarding age, educational qualifications, community and benchmark disability, wherever applicable, at the time of the Personality Test.
The Commission has provided a 15-day window after declaration of the written result during which all candidates who have qualified for the Personality Test must mandatorily log in to the UPSC portal and update their details and educational qualification status. Candidates will also have to upload documents confirming that they have passed the required qualifying examination. Those who fail to complete the process within the stipulated period will not be allowed to participate in the further stages of the examination.
During this period, candidates can also update details related to their postal address, higher educational qualifications, achievements, employment and service experience, marital status, parental details and other information specified by the Commission. Candidates who have already submitted all required documents and have no changes to make must also log in, verify their details and submit the application to generate the e-Summon Letter for the Personality Test.
Interview Schedule and Further Updates
The UPSC said the interview schedule will be uploaded on its website in due course, while the exact date and time will be communicated to candidates through the e-Summon Letter. The Commission advised candidates to regularly check its website for further updates and carefully follow the instructions regarding documents required for the interview.
Access to Mark Sheets
The mark sheets of candidates will be made available on the UPSC website after the final result is declared and will remain available for 30 days. Candidates can access their marks using their roll number and date of birth. (ANI)
