TMC office ransacked in Nandigram; party blames BJP

The TMC party office in Nandigram was ransacked on Tuesday (December 29) night after Suvendu Adhikari came to the town after joining the BJP. TMC leaders alleged that the violence was made by BJP workers.

The TMC party office in Nandigram was ransacked on Tuesday (December 29) night after Suvendu Adhikari came to the town after joining the BJP.

The miscreants ransacked a TV set, an almirah, and furniture.

TMC leaders alleged that the violence was made by BJP workers. While the BJP denied all the allegations and said that the TMC workers themselves had ransacked the office to divert the attention of people.

Meanwhile, Suvendu Adhikari had given a threat to TMC party workers after his supporters were attacked earlier on Tuesday.

Suvendu Adhikari's followers travelling in a bus from Sonachura were attacked at Bhutar about a kilometre away from Nandigram. The bus was also vandalized.

All 15 BJP supporters injured in the attack were treated at Nandigram hospital. Suvendu Adhikari went to the hospital to meet the injured BJP workers.
