PM Narendra Modi inaugurates agriculture university buildings in UP’s Jhansi
The Rani Lakshmi Bai Central Agricultural University started off its first academic session in 2014-15
Jhansi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on August 29 inaugurated the college and administration buildings of Rani Lakshmi Bai Central Agricultural University virtually. PM Modi, on Saturday, said that the buildings of Rani Lakshmi Bai Central Agricultural University Uttar Pradesh’s Jhansi city would improve the education infrastructure, contribute to research in agriculture and help farmers, according to reports.
Union agriculture minister Narendra Singh Tomar and Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath were present at the event.
PM Modi interacted with several students of the university during the event and said the new buildings will inspire and encourage them to do better.
On August 28, PM Modi tweeted "At 12:30 PM tomorrow, the College and Administration Buildings of Rani Lakshmi Bai Central Agricultural University, Jhansi would be inaugurated. This would improve the education infrastructure & contribute to cutting edge research in agriculture as well as further farmer welfare.”
