These machines will be initially installed in five of Mumbai’s busiest railway stations- Kalyan, Lokmanya Tilak Terminus in Kurla, Mumbai Central, CST and Andheri soon. According to a report in the Mumbai Mirror, the IRCTC has tied up with Yess Pizza which has already installed a pizza vending machine at suburban Mulund station.

These automated pizza vending machines work exactly like an ATM. You just have to insert a token to select one of the four options of pizza provided to you. You can then select toppings of your preference and let the machine do its job.

It takes around 4-5 minutes for the machine to serve you the pizza of your choice. Moreover, you also get the privilege of watching your pizza being baked freshly in front of you with zero human interaction.

The report further revealed that though the whole concept of automated pizza vending machine comes from the Netherlands, its parts have been made in Japan and assembled in China.

But the question of the hour is, how are these machines going to manage the crowd at these busy railway stations given the fact that it takes around five minutes for the machine to serve you your pizza?
