Cricketer-turned-politician Navjot Singh Sidhu is all set to formally announce a new political front ‘Awaaz-e-Punjab’ on September 8, IANS reported on Wednesday.

Navjot Singh Sidhu and former Indian hockey team captain and Akali Dal MLA Pargat Singh along with the Bains brothers — Balwinder Singh Bains and Simarjit Singh Bains, who are Ludhiana-based Independent MLAs announced the birth of the political front on September 2.
‘Awaaz-e-Punjab’ will contest the Punjab assembly elections, slated for early next year.
“A press conference will be addressed by Sidhu on Thursday along with Pargat Singh and Bains brothers,” Simarjeet Bains said on Wednesday, IANS reported.
