FollowA 42-year-old woman in Bihar fell in love with her son-in-law and married him, leaving her daughter in a shock. Asha Devi's love for her son-in-law Suraj blossomed when she went to check on him a couple of months ago, at his village after he fell sick.
The two began talking for hours over the phone after Devi returned home. Devi stays alone in a village in Bihar and her husband works in Delhi. Taking advantage of the situation, Suraj began visiting her and eventually he decided to leave his wife and tie the knot with his mother-in-law.
As reported by India Today, Devi and Suraj went to a court and got married, thanks to the lawyers who agreed to become their witnesses.
The daughter fainted after she saw the newly married couple and the matter was soon taken up by the Panchayat. Even the Panchayat got carried away looking at the two love birds and said that “the two loved each other, and it was for the best that they stay happily with each other.”
Baffled by the verdict, Devi’s husband took his heart broken daughter to Delhi along with him to keep her away from this mess.
