His concept was influenced by arcade games from the 1980s and 1990s, since he was a great admirer of the original Space Jam film. It took him around 30 minutes to type the concept straight on the webpage.
When Xbox released Space Jam: A New Legacy – The Game in July of this year, fans of the film series and gamers worldwide were overjoyed. But it was a dream come true for 15-year-old Narayan Karthikeyan. His name appeared in the game's official credits. Narayan is one of two winners of a worldwide competition seeking ideas for a new video game inspired by Space Jam: New Legacy, a sequel to the classic 1996 film.
Narayan was studying for examinations when he saw the competition notice in December. He nevertheless decided to give it a go. The 11th grader from Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, submitted his game concept: players would be able to move from one level to the next by using various power-ups, completing different tasks, and gaining extra abilities along the way.

Narayan stated that he submitted it so carelessly that he didn't even preserve a copy of my submission. He was thrilled when he received the findings through email in June. Narayan began playing video games while he was a child. Aside from games, Narayan enjoys reading science fiction and has authored a few short tales. He went on to say that the gaming business in India has enormous potential and is evolving into a more sophisticated vehicle for narrative, and he would want to be a part of it.
