Hema Malini drinks daily, has she committed suicide, asked this MLA

MLA Bacchu Kadu rubbished the claim that farmers alcohol addiction is one of the reasons for farmers committing suicide. He said “People say farmers commit suicide due to drinking, but it is completely wrong. Now, actress Hema Malini drinks daily. Did she commit suicide.” He also said that 75 percent of MLAs and journalists also drink.
He was reacting to the statement, “depression, alcohol and debts are the reasons for farmers committing suicide,” made by BJP legislator Shaina NC.
The controversy-loving MLA Bacchu also known as Bacchu Kadu was earlier in the news in 2012 when he went on a four-day fast to drive Chief Minister’s attention towards the plight of farmers.
However, he became more popular after he slapped a bureaucrat!
He was noticed prominently after he climbed an overhead water tank and threatened to commit suicide. It looks like he follows Hema Malini a lot. This incident was inspired by Hema Malini’s popular flick Sholay where Dharmendra threatens to commit suicide. However, by doing this stunt, he wanted to pull Centre’s attention to suicides of farmers in Vidarbha. This incident occurred way back in 2006.
