Bengaluru: Amid the coronavirus cases rising with each passing day, former Karnataka MLA ML Ustad's daughter Ruksana Ustad, who was in quarantine, is alleged to have attended a meeting which also had KPCC president DK Shivakumar in attendance two days ago.

According to a report on Deccan Chronicle, a senior leader lamented that Ruksana Ustad's isolation stamp was still visible when she came to the meeting which had nearly 500 leaders in attendance.

"I am scared as I am already 65 years old. I am asthmatic and diabetic too. How can she put our life is risk?" an angry leader questioned.

Meanwhile, Ruksana stated that she is following her isolation procedure strictly. She returned from Dubai just 10-days ago.

"Look, whether I attended the meeting or not, you can get that clarification from the KPCC office itself. This is my 10th day and it is my last day of the isolation period," she snapped over the phone while talking to Deccan Chronicle.

In a similar situation last week, Kanika Kapoor, best known for her songs Baby Doll and Chittiyaan Kalaiyaan, tested positive for novel coronavirus in Lucknow, after she went on partying with bureaucrats, politicians and Bollywood celebrities.

Meanwhile, the Uttar Pradesh health department called everyone who attended the party and asked them to isolate themselves and report in case they show any symptoms of novel coronavirus.

Some top politicos were also sent to isolation after it came to light that Kanika had direct contact with them during the quarantine period.
