A video of Dr BR Ambedkar speaking about chances  of democracy in India and other important factors in a rare interview conducted by the BBC, has surfaced.

Surprisingly, Dr Ambedkar also did not have complete faith in democracy. Rather he did not have faith in the people, who were going to be the leaders as he saw a threat to democracy in India.

Here is the four-minute interview where Dr Ambedkar speaks about problems marring India. The interview looks apt even to this day.  Surely Ambedkar was a person who thought deeply about the political system with a strong foresight.

"I am sick of speeches. There needs to be action," Dr Ambedkar had said. But even after so many years there seems to be the need for action and nothing much has been done on this regard -n eradicating caste system, inequality, etc.Dr Ambedkar rare interview BBC interview Baba Saheb on democracy caste elections in India
