Congress's Sama Ram Mohan Reddy defended CM Revanth Reddy, stating he exposed BRS's betrayal of Telangana. He slammed BRS for using foul language. In response, BRS's Dasoju Sravan Kumar called the CM a 'cheap minister' and appealed to Rahul Gandhi.
Congress Hits Back at BRS
Congress spokesperson Sama Ram Mohan Reddy, on Sunday, dismissed the criticism from BRS leaders over Telangana CM Revanth Reddy's remarks in the Legislative Assembly, alleging that BRS betrayed Telangana. Speaking to ANI, he claimed that the CM exposed BRS in the assembly session. "BRS party leaders are not in a position to lecture us because they betrayed Telangana. Today, their betrayal is exposed by our Chief Minister in the assembly itself, as it is on record, and we have shown all the evidence of how KCR ceded our rights to Andhra Pradesh," he alleged.

'Opposition Used Derogatory Language'
Asking the opposition to introspect, the Congress spokesperson accused BRS leaders of using foul language in front of the media. "...they are criticising our Chief Minister's comments in the assembly. They should introspect because the language which has been used by the opposition party leader before the media... doesn't it sound derogatory?" the Spokesperson asked.
He further accused the opposition of walking out of the session over "silly reasons." "The opposition boycotted the session over silly reasons. They should have been in the assembly and presented facts. But they couldn't show any authentic records," accused Reddy.
BRS Leader Calls CM 'Cheap Minister'
Earlier in the day, BRS leader Dasoju Sravan Kumar went all guns blazing against Chief Minister Revanth Reddy for his recent remarks in the Telangana Legislative Assembly, terming him "a cheap minister."
Speaking to ANI, Kumar questioned the Leader of Opposition, Rahul Gandhi, over the CM's remarks, asserting that he has made "a joke of the Telangana Assembly." "I appeal to the Leader of the Opposition in Parliament and the most senior leader of the Congress party, Rahul Gandhi ji. What kind of Chief Minister have you given to Telangana, sir? Is he a Chief Minister or a cheap minister?... Today, the entire Telangana Assembly has become a big joke," Kumar stated.
He further called the Chief Minister "blind and arrogant" and his comments "cheap and nonsensical", urging Rahul Gandhi to take action.
Background of the Dispute
The criticism comes after Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy asserted that his government remains committed to the state and its farmers while putting on record the past statement made by Bharat Rashtra Samiti (BRS) chief K Chandrashekar Rao, where the Leader of Opposition (LoP) had made threatening remarks.
