BJP national general secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya slammed Mamata Banerjee and said she is creating violence in Bengal. He thinks that central forces should be deployed in the state before the assembly polls.

BJP national general secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya thinks that central forces should be deployed in Bengal before the assembly polls. 

Vijayvargiya claimed “Mamata Banerjee is creating violence in the state. She knows that she might lose her power in the 2021 assembly polls. Therefore, she is trying to return to power in the state on the strength of violence.”

Home Minister Amit Shah may visit Santiniketan on December 20. Kailash Vijayavargiya went to Santiniketan on Saturday (December 12) night to see the management. Former Bolpur Lok Sabha MP Anupam Hajra and Birbhum district president Shyamapada Mandal were also present with Vijayvargiya.

After the night, Vijayvargiya had a meeting with the Vice-Chancellor of Visva-Bharati on Sunday (December 13) morning. After the meeting, he held discussions with the district officials at the party office. Kailash Vijayavargiya said, "I don't think Mamata Banerjee has any faith in the Indian constitution. She thinks West Bengal is outside India. She is the king here.”

“I request the Election Commission to deploy central forces from now itself in Bengal to put an end to the prevailing atmosphere of political violence and terror in the state,” he added.
