Bengaluru: In times of difficulty, political leaders knock the doors of religious heads for blessings and in the case of Congress leader DK Shivakumar, it is no different.

In the morning, Nanjavadoot Swami visited DK Shivakumar to express solidarity with him.

As DK Shivakumar got to know about the presence of Shree Ajjayya Mutt leader Kalivrushabadesikendra swami in Bengaluru, he left his house to meet him. Shivakumar is said to be a devotee of Ajjayya Mutt and reportedly has given offerings in the past

The leader who exited his house today claimed that no money was seized from his residence and his office during CBI raids yesterday. The DK brothers who are upset with media reports about seizure of over Rs 50 lakh quoting the CBI, may use the same to their advantage in court and paint the CBI in a bad light.

The CBI visited his house yesterday at 5:30 am. House staff informed the Congress leader about the presence of CBI at his place. DK Shivakumar, who was on the treadmill, allowed the officials and cooperated during the raids.

The leader also reportedly approached a number of lawyers to ensure he does not face any problem as by-elections are in place to RR Nagar and Sire Assembly seats.
