Shuvendu Adhikari and Babul Supriyo will be present as the keynote speakers at the meeting. According to political experts, the disintegration of TMC in East Midnapore has continued since Suvendu Adhikari joined the BJP. All the followers of Adhikari are joining the BJP.

Shuvendu Adhikari has claimed that the BJP will win 35 seats in the upcoming assembly polls. In his words, "The people of Kharagpur and Jangalmahal have united. The TMC has to go now. I will make sure that the BJP wins the Bengal polls.”

Suvendu’s brother Soumendu Adhikari was recently removed from the administrator's post at the civic body by the Mamata Banerjee government.

Suvendu, who had quit the TMC and joined the BJP last month, said Soumendu's removal was a "vindictive move" on the part of the state government.
