<p>The survey took the opinion of 10,396 respondents in 272 urban centres and 811 rural centres using a systematic sampling methodology.<br />&nbsp;</p><p>The survey showed that Pinarayi Vijayan had received the support of 39 per cent of the respondents.<br />&nbsp;</p><p>Next most favoured for the chief minister's post is United Democratic Front leader Oommen Chandy with 18 per cent votes followed by Chandy's Congress colleague Shashi Tharoor (9 per cent). Six per cent of the respondents voted in favour of BJP state president K Surendran as chief minister.</p>
