Actor Deep Sidhu goes live on Facebook, threatens to reveal 'deep secrets'
Punjabi actor-turned-activist Deep Sidhu, whose name figures in the Delhi Police FIR against the violence during the tractor protest in the national capital on Republic Day, has lashed out at farmer leaders and threatened to expose their 'secrets'.
<p>In a Facebook Live post at 2 AM this morning, Sidhu said he was ready to join the Delhi Police probe into the violence in New Delhi and the siege on Red Fort.<br /> </p><p>Deep Sidhu, who has been on the run since his name figured among those who instigated farmers to run amok in the national capital, claimed that he reached the Red Fort after its gate was broken and claimed that there was no farmer leader present there.</p>

<p>"When we revisit the developments of the day, it looks like a trap that was either it was laid by the Delhi Police or the government," Sidhu said in Facebook Live.<br /> </p><p>The Samyukt Kisan Morcha, an umbrella group behind the ongoing farmers' protest at Singhu and Tikri borders, blames Sidhu for the violence and for insulting the national flag at Red Fort.</p>

<p>Targeting the farmer leaders, Sidhu said, "You are jealous and arrogant. You do not listen to anyone. If I reveal deep secrets, then there will be no way to flee. Will RSS or BJP’s man put up the ‘Nishan Sahib’ and a farmer flag at Red Fort? At least think over it."<br /> </p><p>Appealing to Delhi Police, Sidhu said, "False information has been spread and people have been misled. So I need a couple of days to find the truth and then I will join the investigation. I am requesting the investigation agencies. Why should I run away when I have not done anything wrong? I am not scared. I have done nothing wrong and that will come out."</p>
