Coronavirus: With spike of 21,882 new cases, India’s caseload increases to 1.02 crore

India reported 21,821 new Covid-19 cases, 26,139 recoveries, and 299 deaths in the last 24 hours, as per the health ministry's updated data on Thursday. Total recoveries in India have jumped to 98,60,280.

It went past 60 lakh on September 28, 70 lakh on October 11, crossed 80 lakh on October 29, 90 lakh on November 20 and surpassed the one-crore mark on December 19.</p>
