Coronavirus: India's COVID-19 caseload rises to 1.02 crore, recovery rate at 95.99%

India reported 20,550 new Covid-19 cases, 26,572 recoveries, and 286 deaths in the last 24 hours, as per Union health ministry.

India's Covid-19 caseload rose to 1,02,44,852 with 20,549 new infections being reported in a day, while the number of people who have recuperated from the disease surged to 98.34 lakh pushing the national recovery rate to 95.99%, according to the Union health ministry data updated on Wednesday.

The death toll increased to 1,48,439 with 286 new fatalities, the data updated at 8am showed.
