<p>The new coronavirus infections pushed the nationwide tally to 1,26,86,049. The death toll increased to 1,65,547 with 446 daily new fatalities.</p>

<p>A total of 25,02,31,269 samples tested for Covid up to April 5. Of these, 12,11,612 samples were tested on Monday, said the Indian Council of Medical Research.</p>
