For the first time ever, FIFA has released a power ranking for players during a World Cup. This list is based on how everyone played in the group stage and the first knockout matches.

FIFA's new system uses real-time data from the ground. It gives players a score from 0 to 10 across three areas: attack, creativity, and defence, to decide their final power ranking.

Kylian Mbappe has moved up from third to second place. Even though he didn't score in the last group match against Norway, his overall performance pushed him up the list. Mbappe is currently the second-highest scorer with four goals.
