Thalapathy Vijay of Tamil cinema has a large fan base. While he was recently bogged down by the I-T raids, he was greeted by thousands of fans when he arrived for shooting of his upcoming film Master in Neyveli, Tamil Nadu. The selfie star didn't wait even a minute to capture the moment.

On July 14, 2014, actor Vijay took a selfie with actress Samantha and comedian Sathish. Vijay's Kaththi with Samantha and Sathish had released the same year.

Famous song from the film Kaththi - "Selfie Pulla" - became an internet sensation. The music was composed by Anirudh Ravichander.
