West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee meets Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar at Raj Bhavan on Wednesday (January 6) evening. The meeting between the CM and the governor was seen in the political arena as the usual practice.

<p>After knowing about the meeting between the CM and Governor, State BJP General Secretary Sayantan Basu said, “The chief minister can always meet the governor in a democracy and "I should not comment on that. However, we expect the CM to address the issues flagged by the governor from time to time.”<br />
