Karnataka: KSRTC converts mini bus into ambulance at cost of Rs 2.5 lakh
As there were reports of patients facing issues with ambulances due to a rise in COVID-19 cases, the Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation designed its mini bus into a full-fledged ambulance at the cost of Rs 2.5 lakh
KSRTC converted its bus into an ambulance and named it as ‘Sarige Sanjeevini’
The ambulance was made with the available equipment in the regional workshop in Bengaluru
The ambulance was made at a cost of Rs 2.5 lakh
The ambulance is equipped with 2 stretchers with foldable back rests to facilitate a quick and comfortable transfer of the patient
It is also equipped with first-aid kit, one oxygen cylinder
And also has a 2 g fire extinguisher, siren, foldable footsteps, foot press sanitiser and more
