The Narcotics Wing of Bengaluru City Police's Central Crime Branch busted a narcotics racket Tuesday night in the city and seized drugs worth Rs 1.25 crore, the police confirmed.
The Bengaluru CCB police have arrested four drug peddlers in relation to the case and seized LSD, MDM, ecstasy, cannabis.
"The accused worked as a DJ in prominent pubs of Bengaluru and sold drugs to pub hoppers and youngsters. After a primary investigation, we have found he had obtained the drugs using dark web," Sandeep Patil, Joint Commissioner of Police (Crime) said.
Home minister Basavaraj Bommai and Bengaluru City Police Commissioner Bhaskar Rao met the press explaining the same on Wednesday (July 29).
