India-Pakistan tensions: Mamata govt cancels all State employee leaves with immediate effect

In light of the current emergency situation, Mamata Banerjee has advised everyone to work together. Following this, Nabanna (the state secretariat) has issued a directive cancelling all leaves for government employees.

Terrorist camps in Pakistan destroyed

India attacked several terrorist camps in Pakistan in retaliation for the Pahalgam terror attack. Pakistan has been warning of retaliation since Operation Sindoor, leading to heightened tension and cross-border firing.

All leaves cancelled for govt employees

Mamata Banerjee urged unity and cooperation in response to the emergency situation. Nabanna issued a directive cancelling all leaves for government employees.

Special permission

All previously approved leaves for government employees have been cancelled. No one can leave their headquarters without special permission. The West Bengal government cancelled all leaves for state government employees.
