Today, Tamil Nadu experienced unusually heavy fog, particularly affecting Chennai's suburbs. Due to heavy fog, train and flight services were affected. Electric trains from Chengalpattu to Chennai Beach were delayed.

Flight services impacted by fog

Over 25 flights at Chennai Airport were affected, causing significant inconvenience. Six incoming flights were diverted. Pradeep John predicted similar foggy conditions for the next day in North Tamil Nadu.
