BJP marches in support of newly passed agriculture bill across West Bengal
Protests are being conducted across the country against the newly passed agriculture bill in parliament. Opponents are uniting to protest the bill. Amidst this situation, chief minister of West Bengal Mamata Banerjee has termed the bill as a catastrophe in various protests across the country. However, the BJP believes that the farmers will be benefited from the new agricultural bill. Therefore, they are marching in support of the bill across West Bengal.
Chief minister Mamata Banerjee opposes the agriculture bill. She has called for state-wide agitation over the bill and opposition parties are conducting protests. Amidst this, the BJP supported the agriculture bill.
The BJP marched 5km in the Shwarupnagar subdivision of Basirhat. Workers and supporters marched from Tentulia Bazar to BDO office.
The BJP submitted a memorandum to the Basirhat Lok Sabha Swarupnagar BDO office. BJP disputes Trinamool on PM Amphan housing scheme and many more grounds
Basirhat BJP president Tarak Ghosh, state committee secretary Archana Majumder and others were present in the procession.
Top BJP leaders have already started campaigning in Bengal in support of the agriculture bill. Kailash Vijayavargiya, Sambit Patra, Mukul Roy, and others were present in the procession. This time, the BJP came directly in support of the bill.
