Mamata Banerjee unhappy after EC deploys Vivek Dubey as central observer in Bengal

The Election Commission of India would be deploying central observers, who have the responsibility of conducting elections without any disturbance in the state. The chief election commissioner Sunil Arora said that Vivek Dubey will be deployed as the one of the central observers in West Bengal.

She said, “I humbly request the Election Commission not to look at West Bengal through the eyes of the BJP. The same person has been kept as the central observer in the state. In 2019, Vivek Dubey was an observer here (police). We all know what he did. We all know the game and the drama. The BJP has power over all agencies and the central government. The central government cannot abuse its power in a state election. If allowed to do that, it would be a big mistake. You will have to suffer the consequences.”<br />&nbsp;</p><p><br />&nbsp;</p>
