19 mein half, 21 mein saaf' Dilip Ghosh predicts BJP wipeout
West Bengal BJP chief Dilip Ghosh on Thursday (March 4) said that his party will bag more than 200 seats in the election.
Dilip Ghosh said, “We will not get less than 200 (seats). It will definitely be more than 200. We did not begin preparations today, we had started five years back.”
“We've proceeded phase-wise, we all saw results in Lok Sabha elections. We're going ahead with mantra of '19 mein half, 21 mein saaf,” he added.
On asked about the chances of Sourav Ganguly joining BJP, Dilip Ghosh said, “I have no idea about it, nor has there been any discussion in the meeting.”
On Wednesday (March 3), Union Minister Nitin Gadkari also predicted that the BJP will get a majority in the upcoming polls.
In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, the BJP won 18 out of 42 parliamentary seats. This time, it has decided to win the Bengal polls by defeating the ruling TMC.
