Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff has undoubtedly made a mark in the film industry with an image that stands apart from most contemporaries like Ranveer SIngh, Varun Dhawan etc. His action scenes and dancing skills are his USPS. Tiger Shroff made his screen debut with Heropanti in 2014.

Tiger had once opened up how his parents facing terrible financial crises was a great motivator for him to join Bollywood. In an interview, Tiger said he was 11 when he saw their home being sold as his family went bankrupt. 

The interview was with GQ, Tiger not only discussed the baggage of his father, Jackie Shroff’s stardom weighed on him but also how the family faced a financial crunch.

Tiger said, “I remember how our furniture and stuff was sold off, one by one. My mother’s artwork, lamps and many Things I’d grown up seeing around us started disappearing. Then my bed went. I started to sleep on the floor. It was the worst feeling of my life. I wanted to work at that age but I knew I could do nothing to help."

In Boom, which was release in 2002, which Tiger's mother Ayesha Shroff produced, was leaked before its the big screen. Directed by Kaizad Gustad, the film featured big star Amitabh Bachchan, Jackie Shroff, Gulshan Grover, Zeenat Aman, Katrina Kaif. Padma Lakshmi and Madhu Sapre,

Due to the films’ piracy case, the distributors pulled out, but Jackie came in the picture to ensured the film get release in time. The film became a flop show and tanked. That was when Jackie Shroff had to sell their four-bedroom Bandra apartment and move into a smaller apartment in Mumbai.

That was the time when Tiger Shroff promised his mother that he’d repurchase their house. Tiger made his screen debut with Heropanti in 2014 and by 2017, he had made enough to keep his promise to his mother.

Jackie once talked about Tiger's gesture, in an interview with Bollywood Bubble, “I’m just proud of both my children. They are strong enough to get the house back; my wife didn’t want it back. She said, ‘Let it be, what’s gone is gone’. But his thought was nice, his thought was beautiful that he wants to make a house for his mother and his family.”
