Amitabh Bachchan is one of the most renowned actors in the film industry. He is lovingly denoted as Big B. From playing the Bollywood heartthrob to a romantic hero who would steal people's hearts; Amitabh Bachchan has given many notable performances.

But it was never a smooth walk for Amitabh Bachchan; there was a time when he faced a financial crisis and went bankrupt. Amitabh Bachchan had worked with Yash Chopra for many of his famous, celebrated films. But it was Mohabbatein that made him reborn as a star. For many years Yash and Big B did'nt work together. The 80s were a lean phase for YRF, and later they came up with Chandni.

Amitabh Bachchan's company ABCL was struggling with financial issues and was eventually declared bankrupt. It was then when Amitabh met Yash, and everything fell right in place. 

Once in an interview, Amitabh Bachchan had revealed that he was having a significant financial crisis and was bankrupt. He went to Yash Ji and asked for a job. Mohabbatein and the television show Kaun Banega Crorepati changed his fate, and he got back on his feet.

The famous director-actor duo last worked together in Veer Zara. Both Yash Chopra and Amitabh Bachchan had given many hit films together, but Mohabbatein will always remain unique to Big B as it made him reborn as a star.
