<p>As per Tuesday's medical update on Sumitra's health condition, it was said, “Confused, restless, mild agitation, arousable, GCS-E3M5V2, involuntary limb movements but no focal or generalised seizures event occured, no focal neuro deficit. Marginal improvement in neurological status.”</p>

<p>Meanwhile, Belle Vue Clinic added that the decision to put him in invasive ventilation support was put on hold, owing to improvement on neurological front. “We are not considering putting him on invasive ventilation support as of now after his condition improved marginally. We are closely monitoring his condition,” a doctor from the hospital was quoted as saying.</p>

<p>Soumitra was admitted on October 6 after he had tested positive for COVID. Besides, he also has some co-morbidities. Meanwhile, he was shifted from general bed to Intensive Care Unit (ICU) after developing COVID encephalopathy. It was in August last year when he was admitted with severe pneumonia.</p>
