Samantha Akkineni hates selfies but takes them for this special reason

Samantha Akkineni and Naga Chaitanya are one of the most loved celebrity couples in showbiz. Their social media posts always bring a smile to their fans' faces.

While Samantha Akkineni and Naga Chaitanya were vacationing in the USA a few years ago, they found themselves in Miami and also New York City. The latter location has some beautiful memories as they shot their first film - Ye Maaye Chesave - in the city's famous landmark, Central Park. Samantha also posted a selfie on her Instagram account, captioning it, "Usually hate selfies but this had to be done ..  Central Park .. where it all began .. 8 years ago .. Thank you for the magic .. just had to come back and say Thankyouuu️ (sic)". And the caption was followed by some lovely hashtags like #whatsmeanttobewillbe #lovewillfindaway #NewyorkNewyork #familyiseverything #chaylove #happilyeverafter #YMC.”

The star couple currently enjoys the lockdown phase with gardening, cooking, watching movies, learning new skills and posting pictures with their pet dog Hash. Pictures suggest that they just can't stay away from their loyal friend.

In May, Samantha also celebrated a quarantined birthday at home, locked down with Naga and Hash. On her birthday on April 28, her actor husband baked a cake for her along with the help of Hash. Sharing glimpses of her locked down birthday, Samantha had written: "Family. No points for guessing what I am praying for."

In a question and answer session with fans, the couple was asked about family planning and parenthood, to which, the duo answered calmly, "it will happen soon."
