Makeup artiste Anila Joseph shared the most amazing pictures of Mollywood actress Manju Warrier. Photos of her wedding reception and her bridal makeup are now trending in Kerala.

Amidst lockdown, many artistes and actors have been sharing videos and images of things they do during lockdown to engage with fans. In some cases, a throwback image or video is also shared as they get into a bout of nostalgia.

Recently, throwback pictures of Malayalam film industry’s lady superstar Manju Warrier surfaced on the internet. Her long-time friend and makeup artiste set the internet on fire by sharing an unexpected photo taken in 1998.

Manju Warrier looks like the girl next door, all thanks to Anila Joseph, the makeup artiste who spent hours on the bridal makeup as Manju Warrier was getting married to actor Dileep then.

From setting her hair, draping the golden bordered saree, and adjusting the jewels on her neck, Anila did everything to make Manju Warrier look stunning and the pictures remain etched in the hearts of her fans.

The leading makeup artiste shared her thoughts on Instagram and wrote, “Still remember the day when I met Manju warrier for the first time for a photoshoot. My friend Sarasija wife of Kireedam Unni had called me for doing Manju’s make up. From that day, we shared a friendship which I will always cherish. Manju is a rare gem, a very genuine and sincere person."

She further added, "I can never forget the day I did reception makeup for Manju. Had 9 brides in Trivandrum & then after finishing all that we drove to Kochi and finished her makeup on time. Usually when I finish a bride I feel so happy but, this time my emotions were mixed as I was happy for her but, also knew that she will be missed as she was one of the best actresses in the Malayalam film industry.”
