Diwali 2021 is really special for Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal. For last weeks many reports suggested that the couple will soon get married next month. Hence, this Diwali was Katrina Kaif's last Diwali as a single woman. Last night we saw Vicky and Katrina snap outside film producer Aarti Shetty’s residence to celebrate Diwali.
Katrina donned a pink saree with a golden blouse while Vicky looked dapper in a dark blue kurta. Both smiled at the media camera from inside their vehicles. Before that, Katrina took to her Instagram account and shared a photo with her family (mom and sister) wishing fans on Diwali. According to the latest report, Vicky Kaushal's mother Veena Kaushal sent Diwali gift to be her bahu-to-be. It is said that Katrina received shagun (Special gift) from Vicky’s family with was curated by Vicky Kaushal's mother. In the Hindu, culture shagun is sent to bride/groom-to-be and their families when the wedding is fixed.
The reports also say that in the shagun that the Bharat actress got from Veena Kaushal had some Katrina's favourite handmade dark chocolates along with sweets and namkeen. A few days ago, reports came that the URI actor Vicky popped the big question to Katrina about marriage with some dark chocolate brownies. It is said that Vicky proposed to Katrina in a very filmy style. The actor sent some assorted dark chocolate brownies from Katrina's favourite place and delivered them to her house.
Katrina opened the box and had found a note with a ring that read, "Will you marry me?'. Katrina was surprised, and she said yes.
