In a chat show, Saif revealed his co-star Rani Mukherjee once advised helped him while he was dating Kareena. It helped him for a successful marriage too.
When Saif came to Kareena Kapoor's chat show, What Women Want, he was asked about his take on modern marriage. Saif recalled a piece of advice given to him by his co-star, Rani Mukerji when he was dating Kareena.
Talking about the same, Khan had stated, “I remember what Rani told me once when we had just started dating, you and I. Because I've never, I don't think I had ever been out with a working actress before, in that sense. So she said, "Just behave like you are in a relationship with a man.”
He also explained what Rani meant, “She meant that don't get into the gender of it. Treat it like equal, like you've got two heroes in the house. Two people are working, and then you will have no problems. And I think she is right."
Saif and Kareena started dating in 2007, soon they fell in love on the sets of their film, Tashan. Keeping everything aside like age and religion, they got married on October 16, 2012, after dating each other for five years. In 2016, the couple had welcomed their first child, Taimur Ali Khan, expecting their second baby.
