Actor Amala Paul turned 30 on Tuesday, she was in for a pleasant surprise. Amala had a massive fangirl moment when her upcoming film Cadaver's poster was released on the day of her birthday by none other than her favourite actor Akshay Kumar.

Amala was once Anakha: Interestingly, Amala had once changed her on-screen name. It was on the behest of director Simy, Amala changed her name to Anakha. Later, she changed her name back to Amala after the failure of ‘Sindhu Samaveli’ in 2011.
She slept in a tent for days: In 2016 when the South beauty signed up for a Himalayan trekking trip, she had packed her bags with fancy dresses, make-up, et al. However, barely four days into the trek, she decided to ditch everything, including her mobile, and decided to sleep in tents. That trip changed her view of life.
Debuted at the age of 19: Like all stars, Amala too started her acting journey at a very young age. When she was only 19, Amala made her way to the silver screen with her debut film ‘Neelathamar’. Even though she was seen in a supporting role, there was no looking back for her since then. Having worked with ace stars such as Ram Charan and Naga Chaitanya Siddharth, Amala rose to fame after playing the titular role in Mynaa.
When none supported her after separation: Amala was riding high on success when she chose to get married to director AL Vijay, surprising one and all. In less than a year, the two separated. Speaking on her separation, Amala went on to say how nobody supported her through the phase, and instead instill fear in her saying she was “only a girl”.
Her hush-hush wedding: Amala’s fans were in for a pleasant surprise when last year, the actress decided to secretly tie a knot with her beau Bhavinder Singh during the pandemic. The two had been dating since 2017 and were in a live-in relationship before they decided on a forever.
