Shweta had a massive starstruck moment with Aamir Khan. When the 3 Idiots actor got to know about her crush on him, he started sending sweet birthday notes on her every birthday, as Abhishek Bachchan mentioned.

She chimed in to say, 'we are both Pisceans'.

Abhishek even mentioned in the show Koffee with Karan that when they were studying in Boston, Shweta made him book a limousine and a driver for one and a half hour to watch live performances of Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan.

Shweta had a huge crush on Salman Khan also. When Maine Pyaar Kiya released; she was in a boarding school in the tenth standard, she watched the film on VCR and made her brother get her the Friend cap.

When she appeared in Karan Johar's talk show Koffee with Karan, she said, "We weren't allowed to watch movies in school, so I actually sat there with a tape recorder and I recorded the whole thing on an audio cassette, and I would listen to it. I loved him and I wanted to wear that little cap that said 'Friend'," Shweta revealed. Abhishek said that he carried multiple caps from Mumbai to London for her and their cousins. "I used to sleep with it under my pillow."
