Virat Kohli to MS Dhoni: 6 Indian cricketers and their Avengers avatar
Cricketers are time and again connected to movies and the entertainment industry. While they entertain us through cricket, it would be interesting to see how some feature in a film. Meanwhile, it would be even enjoyable to cast them accordingly to a character from Avengers.
The primary job of the cricketers is to play for their respective team, besides entertaining the crowd with their awe-inspiring gameplay. But, have you ever wondered if they were to be cast in the successful Hollywood movie, Avengers?
Avengers happens to be a Marvel comic-based superhero movie, where a team of the same happens to fight against supervillains, in order to save the world. While the cricketers play to keep the pride for the team that they represent, we take a look on which Avenger avatar they would fit in of they were to be cast.
Harmanpreet Kaur (Black Widow): We start the list with a woman. Black Widow (aka Natasha Romanoff) is one of the most influential characters in Avengers, who is known to a hard-kicking chick. Nonetheless, she does not possess any superpower. On the same note, we believe Harmanpreet could represent the character, owing to her resilience to any bowling attack. While Mithali Raj, too, could have been a perfect fit, I guess age does play a factor here.
Ravindra Jadeja (Black Panther): Another important character in the movie, Black Panther is known for his outstanding fighting skills, besides being a smart thinker. When it comes to Jadeja, the all-rounder can make an impact in any department he wants. Also, he is wise for adjusting his gameplay and playing as per the situation demands. Undoubtedly, we could not find a better fit for him.
Jasprit Bumrah (Thor): Thor is again a strong character in the movie, as the King of Asgard and the God of Thunder is lightning-fast and powerful, which helps the team significantly in their battles. Speaking of the same Indian cricketer that can support his character, it could be India's number one pacer, Jasprit Bumrah, who can terrorise any batsman with his lethal pace and yorkers. The only department he would lag is his physicality.
Rohit Sharma (Hulk): When it comes to Rohit Sharma, he is not just a reliable opener for the side, but being the vice-captain, he is the assistant thnk tank for the team. Similarly, Hulk (aka Bruce Banner) is the assistant to most of the planning for the Avengers, while he can destroy any lousy guy by turning into the green monster. Rohit, too, has a similar characteristic, as he could go on a run-scoring spree, regardless of how dangerous the opposing bowling attack is.
Virat Kohli (Captain America): When it comes to Captain America (aka Steve Rogers), he is undoubtedly a true leader for the Avengers. Also, possessing the shield makes him one of the most robust units of the team. Similarly, when it comes to Virat Kohli, he is the right leader for the side he represents, besides being a substantial batsman. Furthermore, both are highly dedicated team members and possess the never give up attitude. Who else other than Kohli can fit the character?
MS Dhoni (Iron Man): When it comes to Iron Man (aka Tony Stark), he is the undisputed leader of Avengers, who led the foundation for the team. From being a central think tank to being the first-ever superhero in the universe, Tony is the most famous character in all of the movie. Similarly, MS Dhoni laid the foundation of preparing a healthy breed of Indian cricketers, who are feared in the world today, while his contributions would forever remain priceless.
