From cricketers to footballers and even sportspersons from across sporting fields, a lot of them have ventured into the industry. While their physique and looks are certainly one of the reasons, their acting skills are also remarkable, as some of them have become even more successful in entertainment, rather than sports. However, he cut his successful career short to pursue his dreams in Hollywood. And guess what, he was famous there as well. From the Scorpion King to GI Joe, Fast & Furious and countless more, Rock has cemented his legacy in Hollywood as well.
Jason Statham: A popular face in Hollywood, Statham has done numerous top movies, including Fast & Furious, where he has been successful. However, little does anyone know that he is an athlete. The Englishman represented in the 1990 Commonwealth Games, where he took part in the sport of diving. However, he did not win a medal, as he gradually progressed to the entertainment industry, and rightfully so.
Ronda Rousey: She might have gained popularity in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) as a Mixed-Martial Artist, where she won the Bantamweight Championship and is a Hall of Famer. She is currently signed to WWE, where she won the Women's Championship as well.
