IPL 2021: The records scripted as Delhi Capitals breaks Sunrisers Hyderabad's heart in Super Over win

In what turned out to be yet another thriller, Delhi Capitals passed the test of nerves to edge past former champion Sunrisers Hyderabad in a Super Over win during Match 20 of the 2021 Indian Premier League, at the MA Chidambaram (Chepauk) Stadium, in Chennai, on Sunday. It was the first SO of the season, which went down to the final ball, as DC broke the hearts of SRH. Meanwhile, we take a look at the records scripted.
Axar Patel becomes a first
Spinner Patel bowled for DC during the Super Over, giving away eight runs, as it was enough to hand his side the win. In the meantime, he became the first spinner to win an SO in the IPL.
Rashid Khan joins a notable list
Leg-spinner Rashid was the one who bowled the SO for SRH. Meanwhile, he was his third SO in the tournament and is the second bowler to bowl the most IPL SO's (3) after Jasprit Bumrah (4).
Winning the toss, DC elected to bat as courtesy opener Prithvi Shaw's 53; it managed to post a par total of 159/4. In reply, SRH could level the score, thanks to Kane Williamson's extraordinary unbeaten 66. As things went onto the SO, SRH managed to post 8/0, which DC eventually chased down off the final delivery without losing a wicket.
