IPL 2020: Rajasthan Royals’ players land in Dubai wearing PPE kits; see pictures
Dubai: Rajasthan Royals (RR) players arrived in Dubai (UAE) from Mumbai on Thursday (August 20) to participate in the 13th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2020). The players were suited in Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) kits.
Before their departure from Mumbai, RR players cut a cake but did not eat.
As per the Board of Control for Cricket in India’s (BCCI) standard operating procedures (SOPs), the players will be quarantined in their hotel.
After this, they will start training. IPL 2020 will be played from September 19 to November 10. RR won the inaugural edition of the league in 2008.
The international players will join the team in the UAE next month.
