Dubai: The Board of Control for Cricket in India’s (BCCI) president Sourav Ganguly has praised Royal Challengers Bangalore’s (RCB) young opening batsman Devdutt Padikkal after his impressive half century against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in IPL 2020 on Monday (September 21).

<p>Left-handed Padikkal made a brilliant beginning to his IPL career by smashing a 42-ball 56 with eight fours. The 20-year-old helped RCB get a superb start as the Virat Kohli-led team scored 90/1 in 11 overs.</p>
