The ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) might be held in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), behind closed doors. However, that has not stopped the cricketers from getting romantic, especially with their loved ones, as Royal Challengers Bangalore's (RCB) Yuzvendra Chahal has been the latest one to join the ranks.
Since the cricketers are away from the craze of fans, the ones who are already married or are soon to get married are having a mini-honeymoon in the UAE. On Tuesday, Chahal shared a lovely picture on his Instagram handle, of him, along with his fiancee Dhanashree Verma, as both were clicked in a romantic manner, in Dubai's Palm Jumeriah. It was captioned, "Here's to my perfect evening."
It is a trend which many of the cricketers seem to be following. Earlier this week, RCB skipper Virat Kohli had shared the same, along with his Bollywood wife Anushka Sharma, in a swimming pool together, while the picture was clicked by his teammate AB de Villiers.
As for Chahal, he got engaged to Dhanashree, earlier, this year. She happens to be a YouTuber and a choreographer. Earlier, she had shared a picture of her on Instagram, supporting and celebrating RCB's win, along with Anushka, Parthiv Patel and other members of the RCB family, at the venue.
Chahal has been having a fine season so far. He is RCB's highest wicket-taker this season, having claimed 13 wickets in nine matches, at an economy of 7.64.
As for RCB, they have had a decent season so far, winning six games from nine matches and losing three. They are currently placed in the third spot, while they are still in the hunt for their maiden title, besides being deemed as one of the title favourites this season.
