<p>Bedi has represented India in both Tests and One-Day Internationals between 1967-79, besides having claimed more than 270 international wickets. He also led the side in 22 Tests. Bedi also holds the record of being the most economical bowler in the 60-over ODIs.</p>

<p>Last year, Bedi had protested with the Delhi and District Cricket Association naming the Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium after former president late Arun Jaitley. Bedi had also demanded his name to be removed from one of the stands at the stadium, as he also mulled legal action in case DDCA failed to do so.</p>
