Royal Enfield launches new 350cc cruiser motorcycle Meteor

Royal Enfield on Friday launched its new 350cc cruiser bike, Meteor at Rs 1.76-1.91 lakh (ex-showroom). Speaking at the launch, Siddhartha Lal, Managing Director of Eicher Motors Ltd, said: "The Meteor 350 is a supremely refined, easy and accessible cruiser. It is a charming combination of classic cruiser styling with modern capability."

The Meteor is powered by the all-new air-oil cooled, 349cc, SOHC engine with a characteristic long stroke and electronic fuel injection system producing smooth tractable power & plenty of bottom-end torque. 

The Meteor comes with an enhanced chassis setup, accessible riding position, advanced braking ability, high specification suspension and responsive power delivery. Royal Enfield claims that the all-new chassis is stronger, stiffer and more durable and designed for straight-line stability, cornering and manoeuvrability without compromising on comfort.

The Meteor 350 features a Tripper navigation system, which indicates directions through an intuitive display system with an additional USB charging port on the motorcycle. The navigation system is powered by Google Maps and the Royal Enfield App that connects smartphones with the motorcycle through Bluetooth. 

The new Royal Enfield Meteor 350's three variants are Fireball, Stellar and Supernova. Below are the variant-wise Meteor 350 prices (ex-showroom, Chennai): Meteor 350 Fireball for Rs 1,75,817, Meteor 350 Stellar for Rs 1,81,326 and Meteor 350 Supernova for Rs 1,90,536.

The Meteor has a 19-inch alloy front wheel with tubeless tyre, while the rear gets a 17-inch alloy wheel with tubeless tyre. There is a 300mm disc at the front with a twin-piston floating caliper and 270mm disc at the rear with a single-piston floating caliper. Also available is dual-channel ABS.

There are seven colour options in total in the new Royal Enfield Meteor 350. The Meteor 350 Fireball is available in Fireball Yellow and Fireball Red. The Meteor 350 Stellar gets Stellar Red, Stellar Black and Stellar Blue. The Meteor 350 Supernova has Supernova Brown (dual-tone) and Supernova Blue (dual-tone).
