Nissan to launch Magnite sub-compact SUV on December 2

Nissan has confirmed that its Magnite sub-compact Sports Utility Vehicle will be launched in India on December 2. 

<p>Though Nissan hasn't quite revealed the price of the Magnite, industry sources suggest that Japanese carmaker may spice up things and offer the Magnite in the Rs 5.5 lakh to Rs 10 lakh (ex showroom) range.</p>

<p>Magnite comes with an optional HRA0 1.0L engine, which Nissan claims, gives it the best fuel economy in the segment of 20 kmpl. Magnite is also offered with a CVT box and the certified mileage on this is 17.7 kmpl.</p>

Other stand-out features are the L-shaped daytime running lamps and LED fog lamps. The Magnite comes with first-in-segment sleek bi-projector LED headlamps and LED turn indicators.
