2021 Tata Safari launched, prices start Rs 14.69 lakh
Like the Tata Harrier, the 2021 Tata Safari is based on the OMEGARC architecture derived from the Land Rover's legendary D8 platform.
Tata Motors today unveiled the 2021 Tata Safari with prices starting from Rs 14.69 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) and go up all the way to Rs 21.45 lakh for the Adventure Edition sporting an automatic transmission.
The 2021 Tata Safari is powered by a Kryotec 2.0-litre turbocharged diesel engine, which delivers 170PS of maximum power and 350Nm of peak torque. The same engine is featured in the Tata Harrier as well.

The new Safari is packed with safety features like airbags for the driver and co-driver, and for the side seat and curtains. It also has an Electronic Stability Program, which Tata Motors claims, offers a host of features like electronic traction control, hill hold control, hill descent control, off-road ABS and roll-over mitigation.
The new Safari comes with class features in this segment. The company claims that the vehicle is a testament to the legacy and pride of Tata Motors. The Impact 2.0 design follows OMEGARC architecture technology derived from Land Rover's D8 platform.
The vehicle has features enough to satisfy the SUV customers who love the effortless ride, comfort, attractive design and unparalleled variety.
Multi-drive modes -- Normal, Rough and Wet -- and a touch screen music system will be available from the XM variant.
In addition to the above, the XT variant comes with IRA connectivity, R18 alloy wheels, fully automatic climate control and a wide panoramic sunroof.
In addition, the best variant is the XZ variant which boasts of Xenon HID projector headlamps, Tyrian Response mode, six airbags, electronic parking brakes with auto hold, 8.8-inch touch screen infotainment with 9 JBL speakers, 18 subwoofers and 18-inch wheels.
