The assistant would be able to operate different automobile functions such as opening and closing windows and sunroofs, changing climate settings, increasing and decreasing loudness, and so on. It would also be able to tell you jokes, converse with you, adjust the music, read the news, and identify Hinglish.

The new SUV has a length of 4,323 mm, a width of 1809 mm, and a height of 1,650 mm. It had a 2,585 mm wheelbase. Astor would be entering one of the most competitive markets in India.

The MG Astor is powered by a 1.5-litre petrol engine or a 1.3-litre turbo petrol engine, both of which are now available in foreign markets. This engine will be offered with both manual and automatic transmissions.

The Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Renault Duster, Maruti Suzuki S-Cross, Nissan Kicks, Skoda Kushaq, and the forthcoming Volkswagen Taigun will all compete. Because of their price, the higher models of the Astor will compete with the Tata Harrier and the forthcoming Mahindra XUV700.

The level-2 Autonomous system package includes mid-range radars and a high-performance camera that can identify a number of driver aid technologies.
Some of the notable features are cruise control, frontal collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane keeping assist, lane departure warning, lane departure prevention, Intelligent Headlamp Control (IHC), Rear Drive Assist (RDA), and a speed assist system.

The interior colours will be in three options. Tuxedo Black, Dual-tone Sangria Red, and Dual-tone Iconic Ivory will be available. There will be several features, like with past MG automobiles. It will have a 6-way electric driver seat adjustment, a 7-inch digital driver's display, steering feel modes, a panoramic sunroof, a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, an electric parking brake, heated ORVMs, rain-sensing wipers, rear AC vents, a digital key via Bluetooth, and much more.
